Internal Medicine

Internal medicine veterinarians are qualified to perform advanced diagnostic services and create treatment plans for illnesses related to the internal body systems of animals. Our team will help diagnose and treat conditions of the GI system, kidneys, liver, heart, nervous system, endocrine glands, bladder, and respiratory systems. We also treat cancers, blood disorders, immune deficiencies, and infectious diseases.

Pain Management

Our doctors work with you to determine the cause of pain and teach you how to recognize pain in your pet. Acute or chronic pain affects your pet’s ability to physically function and can also have a detrimental effect on their well-being and state-of-mind. Pain management is one of our primary considerations when treating a pet for any medical condition.

Orthopedics

When it comes to orthopedic care, prevention, detection, and treatment of injuries or disorders of the skeletal system and associated muscles, joints, and ligaments are an important and vital part of keeping your pet up, running, and healthy. In addition to a thorough physical exam, we use laboratory tests and radiological findings to determine the cause of your pet’s pain and/or the extent of their injury or illness.

Cardiology

Whether a pet has a congenital heart condition or a cardiology issue that has developed over time, diagnosing a heart condition early can allow your pet to lead a long, healthy life and avoid heart failure. Call us if your pet starts breathing rapidly or coughing, loses his or her appetite, tires easily, seems weak, or has trouble exercising.

Equine

Our equine health services include routine health care and nutritional counseling. Additionally, we offer hoof consultation, minor surgery, and wound care, diagnostic testing, lameness exams, parasite control and vaccines, equine dentistry, and medical care. Chinese Herbal Medicine

Chinese herbal medicine is a holistic approach to healing. Along with nutrition management and acupuncture, it comprises a system of diagnosis and systemic treatment commonly known as Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine or TCVM. Chinese medicinal herbs are used in dogs and cats for a variety of conditions. Herbal treatments tend to be gentler than medication and may take longer to see clear results.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the practice of inserting needles into body tissues in order to relieve both localized and general pain and inflammation. The most common conditions treated with acupuncture include arthritis, developmental bone disease, disc disease, and tendon or ligament injuries. Acupuncture can also help, nervous disorders, skin problems, kidney disease, diabetes, GI disorders, respiratory problems, and much more.

Behavioral Counseling

Do you need advice regarding the redirection of unwanted behaviors such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling, or aggression? We offer solutions for a variety of behavioral issues that pet owners face. Behavioral problems can be challenging and frustrating for both pets and pet owners.
